Trinity River

Trinity is at 300cfs and is still fishing good there are a lot of fish in the river. The fish are scattered up and down the system. Lack of rain is why the fish don’t move up the river in one big school. If you want to beat the crowd going in the middle of the week would best instead of the weekend. Most of the fish are being picked up on Egg Patterns, Red Blue and Copper, Copper Johns, Dark and Golden Stones, and Poxyback Hares Ear.

Lower Sacramento River

The lower sac has been at 5600cfs and is fishing great. There are lots of fish in the system, most fish are behind the salmon picking up egg patterns if you can’t find them there try deep runs, runs going into pools and runs that drop off a ledge. Lots of fish are on egg patterns but still getting a good number of fish on Fox's Poopah, GB flash backs, micro mayflies and rubber legs.
